How the Aluminum Honeycomb Panel is made?
The Aluminium honeycomb panel is typically made of 5 layers - decorative PVDF coated Aluminum facing skin, 2-components Polymer adhesive, honeycomb core, 2-components Polymer adhesive and back mill finish Aluminum skin or granite color aluminum skin - in the way of sandwich lamination. Adhesive varies widely by application: high strength, high temperature, low temperature etc. And a variety of honeycomb cores are available per design requirements for materials and cell sizes to make customized thickness of panels.

The aluminium honeycomb panel is made with aluminium foil Honeycomb structure core inside, the honeycomb structures that have the geometry of a honeycomb to allow the minimization of the amount of used material to reach minimal weight and minimal material cost. The geometry of honeycomb structures can vary widely but the common feature of all such structures is an array of hollow cells formed between thin vertical walls. The cells are often columnar and hexagonal in shape. A honeycomb shaped structure provides a material with minimal density and relative high out-of-plane compression properties and out-of-plane shear properties.
