The main ingredients of rare earth hardfacing wear plat are C (%): 3.0~5.0 and Cr (%): 25~40. This chemical proportion results in a large amount of Cr7C3 chrome carbide hard particles. The micro-hardness (up to HV1800) of these particles thoughout the layer will guarantee a super wear resistant surface.

The overlay and base plate are metallurgical bonding. The overlay will penetrate into base plate about 0.8~1.8 mm, reaching up to 350 Mpa in our tests.

rare earth hardfacing wear plat are used to make many complex wear parts to be positioned in high wear places. We have several equipment to transform our plates: six of CNC automatic plasma cutting machine, 4 multi functional bending machines and pressing machines, with high processing capacity operated by engineers and technical experts. We can provide wear plate cutting, bending, punching and welding according to customer's drawings.

In the picture there are many cracks, please don't worry. The wear resistant steel plate is not broken and the cracks are good to release the thermal stress. Wodon wear plate is composed of many welding beads and the overlay contains a series of evenly spaced hairlike cracks (The cracks are distributed throughout the overlay thickness, but end up on the base plate's surface). These transversely distributed cracks relief the structure's tension improving wear resistant steel plate's performance like mechanical properties and the overlay don't fall off the base metal.

The wear resistant overlay and base plate are metallurgical bonding. The overlay will penetrate into base plate about 0.8~1.8 mm by welding heat. In our Laboratory there are the Rockwell Hardness tester to test the Hardness of the small welding samples, the portable Spectrum to test the chemical compostion easily at the work pieces on the scene, the portable Hardness tester to test the Hardness easily at the work pieces on the scene and the portable ultrasonic thickness measurement instrument to test the thickness easily and accurate.
There are also abrasion resistance testing machine and a series of metallograhy experiment instruments, so the metallurgical microstructure and wear resistance can be tested.

The below picture shows our laboratory. There are many equipments to suppert our Quality Inspection Technology Department, for sample: a series of metallographic analysis equipments, protable spectrum, protable ultrasonic thickness tester, protable ultrasonic hardness tester, destop Rockwell hardness tester, Infrared carbon sulfur analyzer, Quartz sand rubber wheel abrasion test machine and Reciprocating abrasion tester.

Our company covers the area about 43000 square meters. And this year we are established one more branch factory in Tianjin to improve our production capacity.The new branch factory will be finish and full function operate in June 2017 according the company's policy.

There are 3 Workshops (36000 square meter) only in Tianjin now, after the new branch factory finished, we will have one more big Workshop in Tianjin, so that have more place to process wear resistant work pieces like wear resistant liner, pipe and fittings and wear resistant steel plates.

We use CNC automatic plasma cutting machine to cut our wear plats with high effiention and high processing precision and the multi functionial bending machine is very useful to process complex wear parts.

We use our own developed CNC automatic welding machine with multi welding guns to weld our own hardface wear plate. These can overcome the problems like: low productivity, poor flatness and overlay falling off etc. This is a high automation level machine, each welding gun can operate independently and restart exactly from the point it had stopped, simplifying the operation process. The Surface welding plates manufactured by this equipment have many advantages like flat surface, micro and irregular cracks, and uniform hardness being very well accepted by our customers, which like the above picture showing. In our Labortory there are many equipments to test our products. Portable Spectrum can test easily the chemical composition of wear plate surface . We also bought a new Spectro MAXx (a desktop spark direct reading spectrometer) to read the chemical composition directly from the powder.
We have a series of metallography experiment instruments, so the metallurgical microstructure can be analysed. The chromium carbide volume fraction on the microstructure is above 50%.
We use Rockwell hardness tester to test small sample from our wear plate. The test result are very accurate. We also have portable ultronic hardness and thichness testers to test easily the hardness and thickness of wear parts on the scene.
