MNMS Series Horizontal Emery Roll Rice Whitener is applicable for a rice processing plant with a daily capacity of 100-150 tons white rice, and used for whitening thoroughly husked brown rice. The combination of two or three machines in processing flow can be employed to produce the white rice with different whitening degrees according to customer's individual production demand.
Working Principle
Brown rice is feed into the whitening chamber at a proper flow rate controlled by a valve on feeding hopper, then is conveyed by screw propeller to the emery roll and pushed forward along the emery roll surface. In the whitening chamber brown rice undergo collision and rollover due to the combined effect of emery roll, rice blade, rice screen, biaxial air intake and powerful aspiration, allowing the brown rice surface continuously and repeatedly suffer abrasion and finally be milled and whitened.

1. What emery will be installed on this whitener?
Selection of emery roll's size is depend on rice variety, type and condition, normally as below:
- First emery roll: head section 24#, tail section 30#;
- Second emery roll: head section 30#, tail section 36#;
- Third emery roll: head section 36#, tail section 46#;
2. What is the installation requirement of this machine?
The foundation of the machine should be with sufficient strength to support the weight of the machine.
There should be enough space around the machine for maintenance and inspection.
3. Before testing this machine, what should be checked?
- Check for foreign matters like bolt or iron block in whitening chamber.
- Check the tension of V-belt
