Application:
For Containment: Zone off a water zone from debris, silt turbidity or oil etc. & these are contained to a specific designated area so that it can be efficiently collected for subsequent disposal. The design of containment boom or barrier is dependent on what are to be contained i.e. rubbish, timber log, silt turbidity or floating oil, it is also dependent on the prevalent site condition i.e. high velocity rivers, deep reservoir etc. or cordoning of working zonei.e. bridge pier area that need to prevent silt spreading to the whole water catchment.
For Demarcation / Security: Can be linked together to restrict boating traffic and swimmers from entering specific danger areas such as spillways and dams.
