The solid conductor THHN wire has a solid copper conductor and its American Wire Gauge (AWG) is sized 14-10.

The stranded conductor THHN wire, on the other hand, has an AWG size of 14-4/0 and stranded conductor of 19 copper strands.

The aluminum conductor is not made of soft hardened copper but with aluminum.

Application:

Applicable to the cables and wires of rated yolatage 450/750V and less than 450/750V AC for power plant, household electrical applance,insurment and telecommunication equipment.cable electrric for Control signal transmission.

THHN/THWN-2 Conforms to following standards:
UL83 for Thermoplastic Insulated Wire and Cables(THHN/THWN-2)
UL758 for Appliance Wiring Materials(AWM)
UL1063 for Machine Tool Wire(MTW)(Stranded Conductor Only).

Features:

· Increasing laying capacity in tube, decreasing transportation costs.
· Increasing the mechanical strength of wire’s surface, wear resistance property.
· Increasing the heat resistance property of wire,especially in and overheated state of instantaneous hot deformation.
· Good chemical stability, oil resistance,hydrocarbons resistance etc.

Product standard:

The production standard for anti-flaming and fire-resistant cables is GB/T19666-2005,GB/T5023-2008,JB/T8734-2012.

Main Technical Requirements
· Conductor: Conductor structure and D.C. Resistance should conform with the stipulation of table 1
· Insulation: Nom. and min. thickness of insulation should conform with the stipulations of table 1.
Insulation resistance of heat-resistance 70℃ and 90℃ wire should conform with table 1
· Sheath: Nylon sheath should be tightly extruded around insulated core,and min. Thickness of Nylon sheath should conform with table 1
· Finished wire can withstand A.C. 50 Hz, 2500 V, 5 min immersion test in water
