CMAX textured fiberglass yarn is manufactured by passing the E-glass fiber filament yarn or glass fiber strands through a nozzle in which high pressure air stream creates turbulence. The air jetting process causes the formation of loops and generates a slight bulk. Due to their volumes, textured threads are able to store more air and have therefore higher insulation efficiency than non-textured yarn.
