Generally speaking, the intersection of the wireless video surveillance system consists of three parts: a video information collection point, a wireless transmission system, and a traffic control center.
1. The pan/tilt can be controlled by the computer of the control center. The user can perform horizontal 360 degree, vertical 90 degree and zoom control on the camera. The video codec is responsible for converting the analog video signal of the camera into a digital signal, compressing at the same time, and transmitting the control signal. The video codec has a built-in 10/100M network card, and is connected to the wireless device through the network cable, and the monitoring after the compression processing is performed. The information is collected by the wireless network to the traffic monitoring management center. The monitoring center can see the status of the roads and intersections under the jurisdiction. The monitoring personnel can remotely browse the video images and remote control pan/tilt through the monitoring center LAN or the Internet.
2. The wireless transmission system uses a point-to-multipoint method to establish a wireless broadband network covering urban intersections through the R9680FA router. Install the R9680FA router (Ethernet interface) at the remote monitoring point. Products with long transmission distances, low latency (very critical for video applications) and low equipment cost provide an efficient and economical video transmission solution.
3. The traffic control center monitoring center is mainly composed of video codec, matrix TV wall, monitoring server, hard disk recorder, etc. It can complete the image receiving and display of the intersection scene, storage, retrieval, playback, backup and recovery of the video. The video codec encodes and decodes the video signal collected by the front-end monitoring point camera transmitted by the wireless network, and transmits it to the monitoring and management center LAN video monitoring server, and then transmits it to the customers of various relevant departments or personnel through the internal LAN through the switch. end. The control commands issued by the monitoring center for the pan/tilt, lens, etc. are transmitted to the monitoring point through the wireless device. The video images returned from the scene are converted into digital signals and stored on the hard disk recorder, which can conveniently and quickly realize the storage, update, query and backup of the data, and provide basis for law enforcement work such as traffic violation handling.
