Precision zirconia ceramic tube
Yttrium-stabilized zirconia has the highest bending strength among all zirconia materials,
especially when sintered. Yttrium-stabilized zirconium oxide grains are small and suitable
for use in cutting tools due to their high wear resistance, for cutting a very sharp edge.
The fine grain makes the ceramics produced dense, without many pores, with excellent
mechanical strength, corrosion resistance, impact toughness, thermal shock resistance
and very low thermal conductivity. Because of these characteristics, yttrium-stabilized
zirconia is mainly used in wear-resistant parts, cutting tools and thermal barrier coatings.
