Bell Pultruded Profiles are available in a wide variety of shapes, including I-beam, equal angle, channel, square tube, round tube, kick plate, plank, ladder rung, solid rods, H-beam, flat strip, omega top rail, rectangle tube, Y-profile, anti-slip stair nosing, anti-slip strip and so on. They are dimensionally stable and easy to install.Fiberglass structural shapes are manufactured with pultrusion process. Glass mat and roving are draw through resin bath and pulled through a heated die to form the desired shape.On a weight to weight basis, Pultruded Profiles are stronger than structural steel. By varying the type and orientation of the reinforcements, various mechanical properties can be obtained and tensile strengths in excess of 1000 MPa achievable. Considerable design freedom can be gained by the capability of adding extra strength in highly stressed areas. The excellent impact strength of Pultruded Profiles can reducepotential damage caused by accidental collisions.Specification
