Fj6/Hyj/V0 Series1kv Insulation Piercing Connector1. GeneralUsed for branch connection of insulated cable for architectural distribution system, connection of LV overhead insulated cable,
branch connection of LV insulated service-entrance cable, distribution system of streetlight, etc.
Live-line work or power-cut work is allowable
All parts are with flame retardant properties (960ºC through the hot wire and vertical burning test).
Main body of connector is made of high strength insulating material that anti mechanical change or climatic variation.
The screw that is equipped with fastening torque nut is anticorrosion treated, the torque nut enables the installation to be much
simple, safe and quick, its constant puncturing pressure guarantees best electrical effect for the cable connection.
The connector is featured with property of waterproof, it is able to withstand voltage of 1KV in water without breakdown phenomenon.
The waterproof sealing end cap of branch line prevents water from entering into the branch connected conductor. It can be branched
on the left or right side according to the demand..
Remarks
1. The conductor used for insulation piercing connector must conform with international standard.
2. The installation operator must be familiar with installation technique.
3. Please put on insulating gloves and use insulating box spanner during hot-line work.
4. The insulation piercing connector is a kind of one-time product. Please do not use it again after dismantling because of dental patterntransfiguration.2. Application
a.Installing and fixing main cable in traditional way.
b. Stripping outer insulator of main cable for 0.6mat part that need part(don,t destroy insulatonlayer for phase).
c.Choosing branch cable ( not more than 3m) whose distance is the same as electric meterbox, and strip insulator at two
terminals.
d.Installing the separator vertically by turns (thesepatator distance is more than 10cm).3. Mounting Process
