Tarocco Blood Orange was initially introduced from Italy to Zizhong County, Sichuan by Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences in 1992 because of the perfect climate and soil conditions in this area. In 2004, Zizhong County had become the largest cultivation area of Tarocco Blood Orange in China and recognized as "Home of Tarocco Blood Orange in China".Chengdu Newsun provides technical service and its organic agri-inputs to the growers and cooperatives of Tarocco Blood Oranges to meet 8S GFP and export standard.
