Product Description
Mancozeb is amixture of Maneb and Zineb, amanganese and zinc (1:1) complex mixture with the ethylene bis(dithiocarbamate) anionic ligand. Mancozeb is afoliate fungicide used to protect crops in agriculture. Mancozeb has abroader and more effective fungacidal activity than either of its component on their own. Mancozeb also significantly enhances the copper activity against several bacteriosis.

Control of many fungal diseases in awide range of field crops, fruit, nuts, vegetables, ornamentals, etc. More frequent uses include control of early and late blights (Phytophthora infestans and Alternaria solani) of potatoes and tomatoes; downy mildew (Plasmopara viticola) and black rot (Guignardia bidwellii) of vines; downy mildew (Pseudoperonospora cubensis) of cucurbits; scab (Venturia inaequalis) of apples; Sigatoka (Mycosphaerella spp.) of bananas; and melanose (Diaporthe citri) of citrus. Typical application rates are 1500-2000 g/ha. Used for foliar application or as aseed treatment.
