Ingredient: dexamethasone sodium phosphate.
Description:colorless transparent liquid.
Pharmacological action:
The effect of dexamethasone can be similar to that of hydrocortisone, but the effect is strong, the effect is long and the side effect is small.
Anti -inflammatory action and glycogen effect are 25 times more hydrogenated, while water sodium retention and sodium discharge is less than hydrocortisone.
The inhibition of pituitary -adrenal cortical axis is stronger.
In addition, this product can be used to induce labor during the same period, but it can increase the retention rate of placenta, delay of lactation, and return to normal condition.
After intramuscular injection of the dog, it showed arapid systemic effect, with 0.5 hour blood drug reaching peak concentration, eliminating the half-life of about 48 hours, mainly through feces and urine excretion.
Drug interactions:
1. Phenobarbital and other hepatic enzyme inducers can promote the drug metabolism in this class and reduce the efficacy.
2. It can accelerate the elimination of salicylic acid and reduce the curative effect. It can also cause digestive tract ulcer.
3. The curative effect of the anticoagulant can be reduced, and the dosage of anticoagulant should be increased appropriately when combined.
4. Thiazide diuretic drugs can promote potassium excretion, and should be paid attention to potassium supplementation.
Purpose:

Usage and dosage:
Intramuscular, intravenous injection;
Daily amount, horse 1.25-2.5ml;
2.5-10 ml of cattle;
Sheep and pigs 2-6ml;
Dog, cat 0.0625-0.5ml.
Adverse reactions:
1. Strong water and sodium retention and potassium drainage.
2. Strong immunosuppression.
3. Large dosage in late pregnancy can cause abortion.
4. Dogs can lead to dull, dry coat, weight gain, wheezing, vomiting, diarrhea, elevated liver drug metabolic enzymes, pancreatitis, gastric ulcer, lipidemia, cause or aggravate diabetes, muscular dystrophy, behaviour change (depressed and lethargic, abound attack), may need to be terminated.
5. Cats occasionally can see more drink, more food, more urine, weight gain, diarrhea or depression.
Long-term high dose administration can lead to adisorder of corticosteroid secretion.
Notes:
1 pregnancy early and late mother animals are prohibited.

3. Strictly control the use and prevent abuse.
4. Bacterial infection should be combined with antimicrobial drugs.
