Product Overview
MGC Series are a new type of SF6 gas-insulated compact switchgear, in- house developed by Murge, suitable for most switching applications in medium voltage distribution networks. The product, of modular design, allows random combinations of fixed modules or extensible modules to satisfy the demands for flexible applications of compact switchgear at secondary substations. MGC Series switchgears are a fully gas insulated enclosed system, with all live parts and switches enclosed in a stainless steel tank, so that they are free of environmental impacts and feature reliable operation and ensured safety; compact structure and a small footprint; virtually free maintenance and long service life, and so on. The products have passed the type test by national High-voltage Electrical Apparatuses Testing Center, and found wide applications in small secondary distribution stations, package switching substations, industrial and mine enterprises, airports, railways, business quarters, high-rise buildings, expressways, metros, tunnels as well as places with abominable natural conditions

1. Modularized design It comprises load break switch module (C), Switch-fuse combination module (F), circuit breaker module (V), metering module (M), busbar PT module (PT) and so on; different modules can form a ring network through random combinations.
2. Fully insulated and enclosed design The primary live parts (main bus) and switch body of MGC switchgear are enclosed in the gas tank welded with stainless steel; the main circuit is connected with external elements via D1N47636 bushing as installed on the gas tank, which is available for connection with I/O cable via the fully insulated and shielded separable connector; the degree of protection of the gas tank is up to 1P67; the interior of the gas tank, free of the external impact, could resist short-time flood and condensation
3. Flexible and extensible design MGC Series switchgear can be configured to inextensible fixed ring main unit through combination of basic module. (A 6-ways switchgear is the maximum size within one common SF6-tank.) Moreover, MGC Series has a unique flexibility due to its extendibility and the possible combination of fully modular and semi modular configurations via the dedicated fully insulated and shielded busbar kit to provide diversified power supply and distribution solutions.
4. High safety and reliability Primary live parts and switches are enclosed within the stainless steel gas tank for connection with external elements via the bushing to prevent direct contact with live parts; the equipment is provided with reliable pressure relief device and pressure relief duct to ensure the safety of personnel and equipments in case of accidents; it is installed with perfect mechanical interlocking devTce that can guard against maloperation to the maximum.
5. Independently developed new mechanism The independently developed and designed spring operating mechanism optimizes the parts and simplifies transmission mechanism, which makes the whole mechanism more stable and flexible in transmission and can be extended for intelligent control and operation. The interlock is in rigid connection, which is more reliable as compared with soft connection. Components, micro switch and PCB are in modularized integration to facilitate maintenance and repair.
6. Advanced welded sealing technology MGC switchgear aims to Strictly control material strength, rigidity and compressed deformation to components such as dynamic seal (switch operation shaft), manometer, high-tension (HV)bushing and explosion relief valve that associated with elastic seal so as to ensure sealing performance through a series of tests and testing approaches.Parameters
