Indication
For the treatment of critically ill patients such as toxic infections, anaphylactic shock, severe adrenal insufficiency, connective tissue disease, severe bronchial asthma and other allergic diseases, and can be used to prevent and treat graftacute rejection .
Dosage
Before use, use diluted with physiological sodium chloride injection or 5% glucose injection. Intravenous injection for the treatment of adult adrenocortical insufficiency and anterior pituitary dysfunction crisis, severe allergic reactions, persistent asthma, shock, each free type of 100mg or hydrocortisone sodium sulphate 135mg intravenous drip, can be used to each Daily 300mg to 400mg, treatment does not exceed 3-5 days.
Adverse Reactions
Glucocorticoids have no obvious adverse reactions when physiological dose replacement therapy is used. Adverse reactions mostly occur when the pharmacological dose of the drug is used, and are closely related to the course of treatment, dose, type, usage, and route of administration. Patients with the following diseases are generally not suitable for use. Special circumstances should be weighed against the advantages and disadvantages, but attention should be paid to the possible deterioration of the condition: severe mental illness (past or present) and epilepsy, active peptic ulcer disease, recent gastroenterostomy, fracture, and wound repair period ,Corneal ulcers, adrenocortical hyperactivity, hypertension, diabetes, pregnant women, antibiotics can not control infections such as chickenpox, measles, fungal infections, heavier osteoporosis and so on.
Precautions
1. Induced infections: Under the action of hormones, infections that have been controlled can be activated. The most common one is the recurrence of tuberculosis infection. The application of hormones in certain infections can reduce tissue damage, reduce exudation, and reduce the symptoms of infectious poisoning. However, it must be treated with effective antibiotics and closely observed changes in condition. After short-term use of the drug, it should be rapidly reduced and discontinued.
2. Interference to Diagnosis: (1) Glucocorticoids can increase blood sugar, blood cholesterol and blood fatty acids, blood sodium levels, and reduce blood calcium and serum potassium.
