Application--------It can be used as binder for semi-synthetic rare earth Y zeolite cracking catalyst, binder for aluminium silicate refractory fiber, catalyst for ethylene dehydration from alcohol and catalyst for ethylene oxygenation, etc. It can also be used as catalyst carrier, active alumina and other raw materials for the production of aluminium salts.
The product gamma-Al2O3 calcined at 400-700 ~C is widely used as catalyst carrier, catalyst and adsorbent, and nano-sized alpha-Al2O3 can be obtained by calcination at 1100-1200 ~C. It is widely used as coating additives, high-grade ceramics, high-efficiency catalysts in petrochemical industry, sub-micron/nano grinding materials and polishing materials, cosmetic fillers. Inorganic membrane materials and so on are a new type of materials with broad prospects.
In addition, it is also the first choice aluminum source for synthesis of phosphorus aluminum molecular sieve and heteroatom phosphorus aluminum molecular sieve. For the synthesis of phosphorus-aluminium molecular sieves and heteroatom phosphorus-aluminium molecular sieves, it is better to add phosphorus and aluminium sources together with oxygen sources. In general, the aluminum atoms of aluminium salts are not connected with oxygen atoms. If it is used as an aluminium source, it will be difficult or sufficient oxygen source. Therefore, aluminium salts are generally not used. Considering the requirement of uniform dispersion of reaction mixture, the added aluminium source is best soluble in weak acid or medium strength acid solution, while aluminium trioxide or aluminium hydroxide is only soluble in strong acid or alkali solution, which is not conducive to the dispersion of reaction mixture and is not suitable for aluminium source. Pseudo-boehmite can meet the requirements of uniform dispersion of oxygen source and reaction mixing, and is the preferred aluminium source in the experiment.
