1.Definition of Activity:One unit (U) of catalase is defined as the quantity of enzyme, which liberates 1μmol hydrogen peroxide per minute at 30°C, pH7.0.
2.Working Temperature: 20oC-60oC (Effective), 40oC-55oC (Optimum).
3.Working pH: 5.0-9.5 (Effective), 6.0-8.0 (Optimum).
4.The low-concentration of Ca2+, Zn2+, Al2+and Mg2+have not effect on enzyme activity; Fe2+, Ni2+, Cu2+and Hg2+have inhibiting effect on enzyme activity.
Product Description
BP Biotech High-temperature Alpha-Amylase is obtained from submerged fermentation ofby series of scientific methods. It can be widely used inmanufacture starch sugar (glucose, fructose, malts syrup, maltodextrin), gourmet powder, organic acid (citric acid, lactic acid, itaconic acid, malic acid) and gluconate, etc.
Action Principle
The enzyme is an incision enzyme it hydrolyzes the α -1,4-glucosidic linkages of gelatinized starch and soluble dextrins randomly, reducing the high viscosity of the starch slurry. Resulted to different length of oligosaccharides and a few dextrins.
Application Guide
1.Using starch as materials
Pulp concentration of 10-20 Baume scale, pH5.6-5.8, high temperature amylase dosage of 150-500ml / ton dry basis (40000u/ml), injection temperature at 108-110OC, laminar flow around 90mins. Make DE value to produce 5-20% liquefied solution.
2.The dry grinding of starch materials
Pulp concentration of 12-20 Baume scale, pH5.8-6.2, high temperature α-amylase dosage of 600-900ml /t dry basis (40 000 units of enzyme), injection temperature 95-110OC, laminar flow 90mins.
3.Other industries
High temperature α- amylase in alcohol, beer, food, brewing, textiles, printing and dyeing, paper-making and other fermented areas also showed excellent resistance to low pH character, particularly alcohol solution back into match process, the minimum use of pH value of 4.6. Please refer to the recommended amount of our high temperature α-amylase.
