AU Optronics Corp. (hereafter called AUO) G101STN01.6 is a 10.1 inch diagonal a-Si TFT-LCD display screen product, with an incorporated WLED lighting system, without touch screen. G101STN01.6 supports display 1024(RGB)x600 (WSVGA) with aspect ratio of 16:9 (W:H), whose pixels are arranged in RGB Vertical Stripe. As for mechanical detail, it features active area of 222.72(W)x125.28(H) mm. As a TN, Normally White, Transmissive LCM product, G101STN01.6 can provides 250 cd/m² display brightness 500:1 transimissive contrast ratio, 70/70/60/60 (Typ.)(CR≥10) (L/R/U/D) viewing angle , and response time of 7/9 (Typ.)(Tr/Td) ms. Gray scale or the brightness of the sub-pixel is determined with a 6-bit / 6-bit + Hi-FRC gray scale signal for each dot, thus presenting a palette of 262K/16.7M colors, also with performance of color gamut 45% (CIE1931). This product adopted WLED as it's backlight systerm which was placed as Edge light type and have a working life time of 15K hours. G101STN01.6 utilizes LVDS (1 ch, 6/8-bit) as it's signal inputting systerm, which connected by 40 pins Connector with power supply voltage of 3.3V (Typ.).
