VentMed Auto CPAP has 2 types pressure settings---a lower pressure setting which is the most reduced pressure that is needed by the patient in order to prevent his apnea events, and a higher pressure setting.

Treatment Principle

The essential function of Auto CPAP machine is to ensure the smooth flow of the airway. For OSA (Obstructive Sleep Apnea) patients, the main problem of OSA is upper airway collapse, and the degree of collapse is not same, common reactions: mouth breathing, snoring, and apnea. The Auto CPAP is able to provide Continuous Positive Airway Pressure through mask to patient, which can reach the ideal treatment.

Know the Differences Between CPAP and BIPAP Therapy

For the most part, CPAP machines have been the go-to treatment for obstructive sleep apnea. CPAP machines deliver a steady, continuous stream of pressurized air to patient's airways to prevent them from collapsing and causing apnea events. BiPAP (also referred to as BPAP) stands for Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure, and is very similar in function and design to a CPAP machine (continuous positive airway pressure). 

Similar to a CPAP machine, A BiPAP machine is a non-invasive form of therapy for patients suffering from sleep apnea. Both machine types deliver pressurized air through a mask to the patient's airways. The air pressure keeps the throat muscles from collapsing and reducing obstructions by acting as a splint. Both CPAP and BiPAP machines allow patients to breathe easily and regularly throughout the night.

The main difference between BiPAP and CPAP machines is that BiPAP machines have two pressure settings: the prescribed pressure for inhalation (ipap), and a lower pressure for exhalation (epap). The dual settings allow the patient to get more air in and out of their lungs.

Use Method

Do Not Overfill The Water Tub as Water May Enter The Device And Air Tubing!

1. Place the device on a stable level surface.

2. Plug the power connector into the rear of the device. Connect one end of the power cord into the power supply unit and the other end into the power outlet.

3. Connect the air tubing firmly to the air outlet located on the rear of the device.

4. Open the water tub cover and fill it with distilled water up to the maximum water level mark. Do not fill hot water in the water tub.

5. Close the water tub cover.

6. Connect the free end of the air tubing firmly onto mask. For detailed information, read the mask user guide.
