Performance and Characteristics
Powder coatings emit zero or near zero volatile organic compounds (VOC). Powder coatings can produce much thicker coatings than conventional liquid coatings without running or sagging. Powder coating overspray can be recycled and thus it is possible to achieve nearly 100% use of the coating. Powder coating production lines produce less hazardous waste than conventional liquid coatings. Capital equipment and operating costs for a powder line are generally less than for conventional liquid lines. Powder coated items generally have fewer appearance differences between horizontally coated surfaces and vertically coated surfaces than liquid coated items. A wide range of specialty effects is easily accomplished which would be impossible to achieve with other coating processes.The Main System
1.Spray Pretreatment System
The general pre-treatment process is as follows:Degreasing → washing → pickling derusting → washing → surface conditioning →Oxidation→ water washing → passivation → water washing → drying
Purpose: remove the oil, dust, rust on the surface of the workpiece, and produce a layer of corrosion resistance and increase the adhesion of the coating layer .2.Electrostatic spraying
purpose: the powder coating evenly sprayed on the surface of the workpiece, the special workpiece (including easy to produce electrostatic shielding position) should be high-performance electrostatic spray machine to complete the spray
Painted Process steps: the use of electrostatic adsorption principle, the surface of the workpiece evenly sprayed with a layer of powder coating; falling powder recovery through the recovery system, after sieving can be used.3.High temperature curing
purpose:the surface of the workpiece powder coating heated to the specified temperature and the corresponding time, so that melting, leveling, curing, so we want the workpiece surface effect4.Decorative treatment
Purpose: to make the workpiece after electrostatic spraying to achieve a special appearance effects such as: a variety of grain, pattern, by light and so on. Process steps: cover light; transfer and other processing technology
