Working principle of pot bearings:The working principle of pot type rubber bearing is that the elastic rubber pieces semi-enclosed inside steel pelvic cavity has the nature of the flow under three-dimensional loads, and can realize the rotation of the upper structure; besides, can rely on the low friction between PTFE plate on the middle steel board and corrosion resistant plate on the top board, thus, can realize a horizontal displacement of the upper structure. We can see from the experimental data, the rubber's compressive elastic modulus under three-dimensional restraint is 5 x 10J kg/cm, and is 20 times of compressive elastic modulus without side wise restraint. So the bearing's carrying capacity has a high improvement, and eliminates the limitations of the common bearing's carrying capacity. So the pot type rubber bearing is a kind of new product which can satisfy the great supporting force, the great horizontal displacement,and the great corner requirements.
