Piezo element are used on the knitting machines for the displacement of the Jacquard. The consists of two piezo ceramics which are isolated from each other with alayer of glass fibers.Piezo ceramics have the property to deform itself if avoltage is set. Avoltage of about 200V is set alternatingly on each side of the piezo element with switching. The piezo ceramics deforms itself and displace the needle to the left-or the right-hand side of the Jacquard guide.4.
