The Calcium (Ca) assay kit is intended for the accurate and direct quantitative measurement of Ca in human plasma.
Test principle
In moderately acidic solution, Ca react with Arsenazo III, producing purplish-red complex which shows absorption at 650 nm. The intensity of the color is proportional to the concentration of Ca in the specimen.
