How to choose a electric winch?
1.Consider the load capacity. Load capacity is the maximum amount of lbs. that is to be lifted or pulled. If you will be lifting cars, you will need a electric winch that can pull or lift at least 4000 lbs. Trucks will be heavier so you will need a electric winch that can lift over 4000 lbs.


2.Determine the rope capacity suitable for your working situation.
3.Decide how much to spend. Winches that can pull a heavy load will be bigger and more expensive because it takes more material to make bigger winches. Less expensive winches will be cheaper because they will be smaller, but they won't be able to pull or lift larger loads. They won't last as long either, because pulling or lifting heavier loads than their specifications state will cause a higher wear and tear and cause more breakdowns.
