Ball mill Application Scope
The ball mill can be used for primary grinding or re-grinding for the expected particle size.
Ball mill is one of the most commonly used mining equipment, which is widely used in mineral processing, construction materials, silicate and chemical industries. In the production of small scale, medium scale or large scale mineral processing plants, it is generally used as the grinding machine for metal ores of gold, silver, copper, lead, zinc, nickel, manganese, iron, molybdenum, chromium, tin and others, as well as limestone, barite, quartz, graphite, feldspar, fluorspar, etc.

Ball mill Operation Principle:
The ball mill is a horizontal rotating device transmitted by the outer gear, two-chamber, and grid discharging. The materials are transferred to the first grinding chamber through the quill shaft uniformly. There are ladder liner, ripple liner and different specifications of steel balls in the chamber. The centrifugal force caused by rotation of barrel brings the steel balls to a certain height to impact and grind the materials. After the coarse grinding in the first chamber, materials enter into the second chamber through separating plate, where there are liner plate mounted and steel ball to make the further grinding. The ground materials are discharged through the discharging board, thus the grinding process completes.
