1. Summary of positive cone extraction vessel This equipment can be used in the atmospheric pressure, micro-pressure, water decoction, warm dipping, thermal reflux, forced circulation percolation, aromatic oil extraction and organic solvent recovery of traditional Chinese medicine, food and chemical industries. It has the advantages of high efficiency and easy operation. The tank is equipped with CIP cleaning system which meets the GMP standard. The equipment can be combined into a dynamic extraction system.2. Working Principle of Positive Cone Extraction Vessel
The whole extraction process of positive cone extraction vessel is completed in closed circulating system. It can be extracted at normal pressure or at low temperature under pressure. Whether it is water extraction, alcohol extraction, oil extraction or other uses, the specific process requirements are selected by customers according to the requirements of drug performance.
2.1 When water is the solvent:Water and medicinal materials are loaded into the extraction tank, and heat sources are given to the interlayer. After boiling, heat sources are reduced and boiling in the tank can be maintained. Maintenance time depends on the extraction pharmacological process. For example, cooling water is needed for closed extraction, so that steam vapor is cooled and returned to the extraction tank to maintain circulation and temperature.
2.2 When alcohol is used as solvent: First, the medicinal materials and alcohol must be sealed in the tank, the interlayer heat source steam should be given, the cooling water should be opened to reduce the heat source when the tank reaches the required temperature, so that the rising vapor alcohol can be refluxed into liquid alcohol through the condenser. In order to improve the efficiency, the pump can be used to force circulation, so that the medicinal liquid can be sucked out from the lower part of the tank through the pump and then into the tank through the reflux pipeline to relieve the local channel flow.
2.3 Extraction of volatile oil:Firstly, the medicinal materials and water containing volatile oil are added into the extraction tank, the circulation valve of the oil separator is opened, the bypass return valve is adjusted, and the cooling water is opened when the heat source valve reaches the volatilization temperature for cooling. The cooled volatile oil should be kept at a certain height in the separator to separate it. The material liquid of the lower layer of the oil-water separator can be used alternately.
2.4 Recovery of alcohol:The alcohol is added into the tank, steam is opened, circulating cooling water is opened, and then the recovery valve is opened.
3. Structure Composition of Positive Cone Extraction vessel
The positive cone extraction vessel complete equipment consists of: 1. extraction vessel,2. foam trap, 3. gas liquid separator, 4. cooler, 5. condenser, 6. oil-water separator, 7. liquid pump, 8. pipeline filter and internal connection pipes.
The main body of positive cone extraction vessel includes inner cylinder, jacket layer, insulation layer, ear support, pneumatic slag door, pneumatic operating table, etc. The insulation layer of extraction tank uses rock wool as insulation material.
The inner cylinder is made of high quality SUS304/316L, the jacket is fully enclosed, and the outer cylinder is made of SUS304 Matt steel sheet. The positive cone extraction vessel is equipped with CIP cleaning automatic rotating spray wash ball head, temperature measuring hole, explosion-proof TV lamp, viewing mirror, quick-opening feeding port, etc. to ensure easy operation and meet GMP medical standards. It has the characteristics of uniform solvent distribution and easy slag discharge.4. Structural characteristics of positive cone extraction vessel
4.1 The traditional form, which occupies less space, is widely used in extraction workshop.
4.2 The bottom heating is arranged on the discharging door to make the extraction of medicinal materials more complete.
4.3 It can be used in dynamic extraction system by improving the way of extracting liquid and adding stirring device.
