5) ApplicationThe Cement Head is aspecial tool for pumping slurry and releasing plug. It makes the drilling fluid fill into casing in turn and quickly. This can simplify the cementing operation and prevent cement pollution.6) How to workA device fitted to the top joint of acasing string to hold acement plug before it is pumped down the casing during the cementing operation. In most operations, abottom plug is launched before the spacer or cement slurry. The top plug is released from the cement head after the spacer fluid. Most cement heads can hold both the top and bottom plugs. Amanifold incorporated into the cement head assembly allows connection of afluid circulation line.7) StructureIt is consist of top cap, body, manifold, stop pin, quick joint(including quick union), seal rubber ring, indicator.8) Featuresa.
