PVDF Fluorocarbon Anticorrosion Paint
Composition: Fluorocarbon flash paint is a two-component high decorative anti-corrosion product made of high weather-resistant hydroxy-fluororesin, flash powder, auxiliaries, solvents, and polyurethane hardeners.
Gives color and special metal effects.

Recommended usage: used in highway (railway) steel bridges, port machinery, construction steel structures, transportation facilities, mechanical power equipment, petrochemical pipelines, and equipment, tanks, outer walls of reactors, offshore oil rigs and other steel structures as top coats for long-lasting coating systems.

Pretreatment: Remove sediment, grease, thick oxide skin, dust and other attachments and clean it up then can be coated. Keep the surface dry.

Compatible paint: polyurethane primer, inorganic zinc primer, epoxy antiseptic primer with ash thick slurry, epoxy zinc-rich primer, ect…

Application conditions:
·Suitable coating environment: temperature (0~35ºC), humidity ≤85%, substrate temperature ≤50ºC, 3 ºC higher than the dew point, wind level≤ 3.
·Outdoor application should avoid rainy, foggy and windy occasions, and also factor of dew in the morning and evening should be taken into account.
· When substrate temperature is below 0 ºC or relative humidity is higher than 85%,it is not recommended for application.
·Generally, the self-drying coating film after coating should not be caught in the rain within 16 h.

Storage
ŸMust be stored in accordance with HG/T2458-93 General Rules for Inspection, Transportation and Storage of Paint Products.
ŸThe product should be kept in a ventilated, dry place with no direct sunlight, and the storage temperature should be at 0~35 ºC.
ŸThe warranty period of the paint is 12 months and the curing agent is 6 months. When it exceeds the effective storage period, the product may be inspected according to the standard of the product. If the result still meets the requirements, the product can still be used.

Application suggestions
ŸRecommended dry film thickness is above25μm-45μm, 1~2 coats.
ŸInterval of subsequent coating should be as short as possible, if recoating interval is exceed 48h, use finesandpaper roughen and soot blowing after coating, and remove the oil and dirt of coating surface, keep it clean and dry.
ŸWhen using, stir the paint evenly, then stir in the portion of paint: curing agent5: 1 (ratio), filter with 100 mesh sieve and then apply.
ŸTo obtain the ideal high quality coating, the coating can be cured at the temperature of 25ºC for 30min,then coating.
ŸAdd the thinner if the coating is too viscosity
ŸThe 2-pack paint after mixing usually should be used up in 4 hours. If overtime may affect the quality of the coating. Therefore, should be adjusted according to application condition.
ŸIt's strictly forbidden to contact water, acid, alkali, alcohol and the like during the paint mixing and coating process.
