It is used as an anti-corrosive primer in heavy-duty anti-corrosive coating system, coated on steel structures, such as harbour machine, heavy-duty machine, apparatus for recovering petroleum and foe mine, hull above ship bottom and deck, bridge, pipeline buried under ground, external wall of gas-holder and etc.. It is the perfect primer to be top coated with epoxy type middle and finish.

The film shall not be exposed in open air long before the subsequent coat being applied, because zinc salts (white rust) will be formed on the surface. If longer interval is needed, application of a coat of 842 Epoxy MIO anti-corrosive paint is recommended as a sealing layer as soon as possible to reduce the secondary work of surface preparation.Though the zinc salts will not be formed on the film in clean environments in or out of the door for months. If in industry environments or ocean environments, zinc salts will be formed quickly, and the painting interval shall be as short as possible.Any visible zinc salts must be prepared secondary by sweep blast-cleaning or mechanical cleaning, and surface contaminations and oil must also be removed before overcoating.Recommended

When air temperature is between 5ºC and 10ºC,it can be conducted to apply H06-4 Zinc-rich Epoxy Anti-corrosive Primer, but its curing rate is very slow.When the temperature of substrate is below 5ºC, the cross-linking reaction between epoxy and curing agent will be substantially stop and application must not be carried out (in this case, it may be applied in coating shop in which the temperature is above 5ºC)During application and curing of H06-4 Zinc-rich Epoxy Anti-corrosive Primer, it is need to ventilate and exchange the air fully.NOTE Please read "Application guide" carefully beforehand, in order to use the product manufactured by our factory properly.
